Covid – 19 Customer considerations
At Gylly Adventures we strive to make all clients feel safe and welcome. Fortunately, being in the great outdoors lowers the risk of Covid transmission. However, there are some additional measures and considerations that we would like to share to help reduce the risk further. Our beach is big, but our venue is small. Our base on the beach is a small container. Therefore, on arrival, we ask that only one person in the group (ideally the person that has made the booking) come up to check in at the container.
Please come changed in your swim wear ready for your activity. We have an open communal courtyard area that people can use to get changed. This can be busy so please be prepared to get change on the beach to help avoid congestion. Your belongings will be looked after a while you are on activities and will be kept in individual boxes. Where possible please bring as few belongings and leave any valuables at home or in the car.
There are public toilets at Gylly beach, but these too can get busy. We recommend going to the toilet prior to arrival. We have hand sanitiser in the container and on the beach. Please use it. Gylly Adventures staff will also clean and wipe down touchable equipment and surfaces such as kayak handles and paddles between customers. Please be aware there is only so much Gylly Adventures can do to reduce Covid transmission and be operational. Gylly beach can become crowded on busy days particularly during the middle of the day. Consider booking morning activities to avoid the crowds.
