From April to September our headquarters at Gylly Beach will be open every day from 9.30 am. Closing time varies on a busy day we will close at 8pm. Normally 6pm
If our headquarters is closed during April to September, this probably means the weather is to poor for hire or we are out on the water!

Between September and April, we do not routinely open our headquarters. However, Gylly runs adventures year-round, to organise your next adventure book online or contact us by phone or email.
Gylly Beach Activities:
There are lots of parking options near Gylly beach. There is a pay and display carpark in easy walking distance, as well as free residential parking if you are happy to walk a little further. Please note that parking directly opposite Gylly beach café is not permitted in summer months and is regularly patrolled by traffic wardens. Sat Nav postcode is TR11 4PA.
Falmouth Harbour Activities (Greenbank Hotel):
All Falmouth Harbour Tours meet on the picnic tables in front of the Working Boat Inn along the Greenbank Hotel Pontoon. Please note there is strictly no parking permitted on the pontoon carpark or on Greenbank property. If you are a guest staying at the hotel or you have a meal reservation pre-booked, then parking onsite is permitted. Free residential parking is easily found around the Greenbank hotel on Stratton terrace and Dunstanville Terrace. Sat Nav Postcode is TR11 2SR
Helford River Activities(Durgan):
All trips will meet in the Bosveal National Trust carpark at the top of Durgan Village. The carpark has an all-day charge of £2 per vehicle and is free to National Trust members. Sat Nav postcode is TR11 5JR.
Meet at ‘Piran Surf’ shop in Perranporth. 38 St. Pirans Road, Perranporth, Cornwall, TR6 0BJ. There are multiple pay and display car parks in Perranporth all a short walk from the beach and surf shop.
Gylly Beach Activities:
There is an open Courtyard next to our base on the beach which provides a space for changing. There is also a large public toilet if more discretion is required. We recommend that you arrive already changed into your swimwear. There is also a freshwater shower by the Public Toilets however it is not warm! Your belongings will be kept safe in our containers while you are on activity. We have never had any issues, but we don’t have any lockers at Gylly.
There is no changing facilities at this location. You will get change in the open at the Greenbank Gardens. We recommend that you arrive already changed into your swimwear. There are toilets at the Working boat pub below the Hotel. Belongings during the activity will be locked in the Gylly Adventures Van or your own Vehicles.

There are toilets in Durgan village, we recommend that you visit the loo before arrival as we only go past the toilets once you are already changed. Booking Cancellation by you: If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before the activity session you are entitled to a full refund. If you cancel between 14 – 5 days before the activity session you are entitled to a full refund minus a 30% deposit. If you cancel within 5 days before the activity session you will receive no refund.
Booking Cancellation by Gylly Adventures (GA): If Gylly Adventures (GA) must cancel a session due to a fault of GA you will be offered a full refund. If we must cancel due to bad weather that would make it unsafe to run the session. We will first look to relocate the activity session to an alternative venue or offer an alternative activity. If this is not possible, we will offer you either: A credit note to the full value of the session or a full refund minus a 30% deposit. GA will notify you of any venue or activity changes the day before your activity session.
Risk Consent and Medical Information
Gylly Adventures operates by a ‘Challenge by Choice’ policy. Every participant will be asked to acknowledge the associated risks with the activity. You will be asked to complete medical questionnaire. Parents and Guardians must complete the form on behalf of any Under 18’s. Insurance & Safety
GYLLY ADVENTURES ACTIVITY CENTRE LTD operates with public liability insurance. Our insurance does not cover you for accidental injury and illness. You may wish to take out your own personal injury insurance. Copies of our Insurance and risk assessments can be sent on requested.
Alcohol & Drugs
We reserve the right to refuse participation to clients if we believe them to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. In this case no refunds will be provided.
