Release your inner hunter gatherers! Coast craft is bush craft but specifically utilizing natural resources our shoreline can offer. Coast craft with Gylly Adventures is an entertaining and hands on experience, you may even leave confident with skills to at least survive a day the next time your mobile phone runs out of power. You will explore our coastline by kayak, foraging from one of nature’s most abundant larders, investigating the wild foods on offer. You will attempt to catch fish on a hand line, collect edible seaweeds, start a fire by friction and sample your cooked foraged foods. This is not military style survival; our Coast craft is a social activity for the whole stag party.

Overview: It would be a shame to do just one great activity! Gylly Adventures offers combining our two most popular activities in one. We combine our ‘Caves and Shipwreck Adventure’ with our ‘Gylly bay coasteer’. Coasteering from either a Paddleboard or kayak allows you to explore gullies and Jumps otherwise difficult or inaccessible from the land. Every Adventure starts with some basic paddling tuition and a safety briefing. No previous experience is required on a kayak coasteer combo; however, we recommend a paddleboard lesson before joining a SUP Coasteer combo.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WEEKLY & NEW GROUP ADVENTURES?2019-03-07T18:46:48+00:00

WEEKLY ADVENTURES: Every week during the season (Opening Hours) Gylly Adventures runs WEEKLY Adventures at fixed times. These Adventures are open to anyone and are ideally suited for individuals, pairs and Small groups. WEEKLY adventures are better value than a NEW GROUP adventure.

NEW GROUP ADVENTURE: If the WEEKLY adventures aren’t convenient then you can make a NEW GROUP booking. NEW GROUP booking must be a minimum of 4 people. At Gylly we would never put a Stag group with a Family booking, however please don’t mistake a NEW GROUP booking as being exclusive. Activity exclusivity is an optional extra @ £5pp.
